Kmart is committed to helping communities thrive. The do this by partnering with local and global organisations whose visions and programs have positive impacts on the people in the communities they serve.
Salvation Army
Kmart partners with The Salvation Army to assist those in need not only at Christmas but throughout the whole year via the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal. In addition we work with The Salvation Army to provide support during times of crisis, such as when communities are impacted by natural disasters.
Mission Australia
Mission Australia works to reduce homelessness and strengthen communities across Australia by helping secure jobs, receive an education, find housing and develop important life skills. Mission Australia is a community partner for the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal, helping to collect gifts for people doing it tough.
Reach Foundation
Reach was founded by Jim Stynes and Paul Currie in 1994 with a pretty clear vision – to inspire young people to believe in themselves and get the most out of life. Since then, Reach has grown – with hubs in Melbourne, Sydney and the Hunter Region. Thousands of young people across Australia participate in their workshops each year and demand continues to increase.

Priceline Pharmacy is not only a fantastic place to stock up on all your health and beauty favourites, but you can drop off your spare change to make a big difference! Priceline recognises that we all know someone touched by a serious illness, and its Sisterhood Foundation supports five different charities to achieve their goals. So far the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation has raised $4.5 million and donated 100% of the proceeds raised to its charity partners. Focussing on women’s and children’s health charities, the Priceline Sisterhood Foundation has partnered with Look Good Feel Better, PANDA (Perinatal Anxiety and Depression Australia), Children First, Hear to Listen and Alzheimer’s Australia.

Easy! You can donate in any Priceline store by dropping your spare change in the love-heart shaped donation box at the register, or by donating online on the Priceline website.
Fight against Hunger
Optus have partnered with Foodbank to help provide meals to families in need.
They are fundraising for Foodbank and you can help by making a donation in store or online. 100% of contributions will be donated to Foodbank.
Donate Your Data
Optus has partnered with children’s education charity The Smith Family for their ‘Donate Your Data’ program to help provide disadvantaged children who can’t afford internet access.

Coles Supermarkets partners with numerous local and international charities to raise funds and awareness for important causes.
SecondBite
More than 680 Coles supermarkets across Australia donate surplus fresh food to around 1300 community food programs which provide meals to disadvantaged Australians. Over the past seven years, donations from Coles have equated to 50 million meals. In addition to providing food donations, Coles also raises funds for SecondBite through the sale of $2 donation cards and shopping bags.
Redkite
Coles is proud to support Redkite, which helps provide essential support and financial assistance to children and young people with cancer and their families.
Over the past five years, Coles team members and customers have raised $28 million for Redkite, which has enabled support for families around 120,000 times by helping to provide counselling services at hospital bedsides, financial assistance and scholarships for young cancer patients and survivors.
Clean Up Australia
As one of Australia’s largest retailers, Coles recognises its responsibility to the environment. That’s why we they always looking for ways to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to the communities in which they operate. In late 2017, Coles was partnered with Clean Up Australia on environmental initiatives, such as Clean Up Australia Day and our Community Bags program, which encourages our customers to use reusable shopping bags.
Disaster relief
Coles has a long history of supporting the communities in which we operate by raising funds for disaster relief. Coles team members and customers support relief efforts by donating funds as well as essential supplies to communities in need.

Woolworths use their resources and skills to partner with the communities they are part of to improve the health and well-being of our customers, creating employment opportunities for young Australians and New Zealanders, and supporting communities facing natural disasters with emergency relief and post-disaster recovery. Some of their initiatives include Free Fruit for Kids, Earn and Learn, S.T.A.N.D., White Ribbon and programs with their food rescue partners such as OzHarvest and Foodbank.
OzHarvest
Every 50c donated to OzHarvest directly assists them in keeping more than 50 drivers on the road, rescuing surplus fresh food from around the country, and delivering it daily, and free of charge to over 1300 charities across Australia Over the past 4 years, Woolworth’s annual Appeal has helped OzHarvest deliver an extra 7,600,000 meals.
Foodbank
Foodbank is Australia’s largest food relief organisation, providing 60 million meals a year to more than 2400 charities around the country. This accounts for 75% of all the food distributed to charities by food rescue organisations in Australia. Last year, Foodbank distributed 33 million kilograms of food and groceries with a retail value of more than $200 million. Woolworths has been a Foodbank ‘National Donor’ since 2002, donating more than 15 million kilograms of food and groceries to date.
Salvation Army S.T.A.N.D program (Support Through Australian Natural Disasters)
Woolworths partners with the S.T.A.N.D program to raise funds for communities affected by natural disasters. Fund raising through corporate donations, customer donations and sales of specially marked bottled water contribute towards helping communities with disaster response, recovery and resilience.
